Canine Angiotensin (1- 9), ANG (1- 9) ELISA Kit - 96tests
The Canine Angiotensin (1–9) ELISA Kit is a competitive enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay specifically developed for the quantitative measurement of ANG (1–9) in canine serum, plasma, and other biological fluids. Angiotensin (1–9) is a bioactive nonapeptide produced from angiotensin I via angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 (ACE2) and plays a regulatory role in the renin-angiotensin system (RAS), counteracting vasoconstrictive and pro-inflammatory actions of ANG II. The assay uses a high-affinity anti-ANG (1–9) antibody coated onto a 96-well microplate, with competition between sample-derived ANG (1–9) and an HRP-conjugated tracer for antibody binding. Colorimetric detection with TMB substrate is measured at 450 nm and is inversely proportional to ANG (1–9) concentration. The kit is optimized for high specificity, sensitivity, and reproducibility, making it ideal for canine cardiovascular, renal, and endocrine research.
