Phospho- eIF2 alpha (Ser51) Antibody

The Phospho-eIF2α (Ser51) Antibody is a phosphorylation site-specific monoclonal or polyclonal antibody engineered to detect eukaryotic initiation factor 2 alpha (eIF2α) only when phosphorylated at serine residue 51 (Ser51). This post-translational modification is a pivotal regulatory event in the integrated stress response (ISR), controlling global protein synthesis under cellular stress conditions.

The antibody is generated using a synthetic phosphopeptide encompassing Ser51 of human eIF2α as the immunogen and is affinity-purified using phospho-specific peptide columns to ensure high specificity and minimal cross-reactivity with non-phosphorylated eIF2α or unrelated phospho-proteins.
